About the Academy

The Georgian Academy of International Relations and Political Sciences was established in November 2017. Its creation was caused by the long-term work of the academy's founders in the field of international relations and by the great experience of analyzing and researching these relations.
The aim of the Academy is to carry out scientific and educational work in the fields of international relations and political science and to inform  both Georgia and the international community about the place and importance of Georgia in the regional and global political situation.

To achieve this goal, the Georgian Academy of International Relations and Political Sciences actively cooperates with Georgian and foreign scientists.
In particular, the Academy conducted lecture cycles with free attendance on the following topics:
  • "Diplomatic service of the Democratic Republic of Georgia and its activity in 1918-1921" - speaker Nikoloz Javakhishvili.

  • "History and modernity of multiculturalism in the South Caucasus region" - speaker Shirkhan Adigozalov (Azerbaijan).
  • "Georgia's place in modern world and regional political systems and its prospects" - speaker Simon Kopadze.
  • "The first Georgian emigration during the Second World War" - speaker Tengiz Tkhilava.

On the initiative of the Academy, a book was translated from Azerbaijani into Georgian, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, a prominent political figure of our region, emphasizing his relations with Georgia.
