Shahismaiyl Mamedoc was born on April 10, 1962 in Georgia, village Qosal of Gardabani municipality.

Graduated from high school of Qosal. In 1980-85 studied in State pedagogic institute of foreign languages of Azerbaijan, faculty of French language. In 1982-86 studied in State University of Baku, faculty of Journalism.

Worked in the high school of Qosal as a teacher of French language, also as a correspondent of Azerbaijani newspaper, published in Georgia.

In 1992-94 he was a correspondent in Georgia of “Azertaj” - State Agency of News of Azerbaijan. In 1994 – 2024 was representative of AZTV – State TV and Radio Company of Azerbaijan in Georgia.

Is a member of Writers’ Unions of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Russian Federation. Is Knight of Georgian Order of Honor and Azerbaijani Order of Glory.
